Portrait: Jens Feddersen – 30 years at the Heart of Lynddahl

On 08 December 2025, Lynddahl celebrated the 30-year anniversary of Jens Feddersen

On 8th December, Jens Feddersen celebrated his 30-year anniversary with Lynddahl – a milestone that marks not only his career but three decades as one of our most steadfast pillars. Jens’ journey is deeply intertwined with Lynddahl’s evolution, and he has witnessed it all.

His first encounter with Lynddahl dates back to 1984, when he walked through the doors on Industrivej as a young trainee auditor. Back then, IT was almost exotic – employees didn’t have their own PCs. Jens only learned to use Excel after joining Lynddahl – a tool no one imagined would become indispensable. He didn’t get his first home computer until he had already started working digitally at the office. Much of the IT development we now take for granted, Jens has followed from the front row.

In 1995, Jens became a permanent part of Lynddahl. When the company acquired another business and needed a CFO, he stepped into the role – and has since been a key member of the leadership team.

Jens has worn many hats, mastered countless disciplines and played a decisive role in major decisions and transformations. He was there for the acquisition of Mutag in 2009, the closure and relocation of Hjort to Ribe, the start-up and later sale of Telecom, the divestment of profiles and the establishment in Germany. From classic hose and profile production to a modern, business-driven company – Jens has been part of the journey from the sidelines to the center.

And his impact has not gone unnoticed.

“He has been as stable and loyal as anyone could be – always the same, always reliable. An invaluable support to me through the years and a great help in everything we’ve faced,” says Jenny Lynddahl. Colleagues describe him as unique, a good teammate and someone you can trust.

Looking back, Jens is proud of the journey – proud of the company’s development and of helping to shape it. He sees Lynddahl’s ability to adapt time and again as a remarkable achievement. For him, Lynddahl has always been a place where people matter most. That family spirit is one reason why three decades have passed faster than you’d think. Anniversaries like his are proof of that culture.

Communication and everyday life at the office have changed dramatically – from overflowing in-trays after summer holidays to emails, digital systems and online bots. The flow of information is greater than ever, but that’s exactly what Jens thrives on. New business areas, new tasks and new opportunities keep the job alive and challenging.
Looking ahead, Jens shows the same stability and curiosity he’s demonstrated for 30 years. Lynddahl is strong – and will continue to evolve.

Jens is ready to be part of the next chapter, just as he has been for all the previous ones.
