With more than 100 participants, the day offered everything from guided tours of the production facilities to a bouncy castle, outdoor games, creative activities, fun competitions and of course a popular hot dog stand that made sure no one went home hungry.
The atmosphere was fantastic, and it was wonderful to see children, parents, and grandparents enjoying themselves together across generations.
Roxana and Petra, who both work in production, summed it up perfectly:
“It was a very nice and funny day, enjoyed it a lot, great to see our colleagues’ families too – and the children could play together. All round a perfect day, hope to do that once again!”
From the administration in Matters Group, Jens and Pernille shared their impressions:
“It was well organized, cozy to meet each other’s families, cool to see the great celebration and of course popcorn and slush ice is a hit for the young ones, meanwhile we took great part in the Hot Dog Stand.”
The day was also a rewarding experience for the organizers Jesper and André. For them, one of the highlights was seeing more than 100 colleagues and their families take part and enjoy the activities together. It created a unique opportunity for families to put faces on the people they often hear about at home, and for the children it became a day full of positive impressions and new friendships. The informal setting made it easy for everyone to connect, and the factory tours gave families valuable insight into the workplace. All in all, the day was a great way to share a part of everyday work life with those who matter most – the families behind our colleagues.
